One thing that I love about Catholic churches, particularly in Arizona, California, and Mexico, is the way that these buildings sit with their doors wide open, welcoming any and all who happen by. There is something very spiritual about walking into a centuries old mission church that has been an outpost for Christ’s message of love and redemption for so long.
